Integration of Character Education In Mathematics Learning – Cased Study at Alam Surya Mentari Muhammadiyah Elementary School Surakarta
Abstract
This study aims to describe the integration of character education in the planning, implementation, and assessment of mathematics learning at the Alam Surya Mentari Muhammadiyah Elementary School Surakarta. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive research methodology where data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Results from this study is the integration of character education in Alam Surya Mentari Muhammadiyah Elementary School Surakarta has done well through teaching and learning activities, extracurricular activities, habituation, and other activities carried out school. The character development of students who are integrated in mathematics learning has also been carried out well by emphasizing on the development of religious, honest, disciplined, brave, care, cooperative, responsible, curious, and creative characters.
